My 1st Blog Award

I always love receiving comments from LA-based blogger 'Dreaming en Francais'... so I can't tell you how happy I was yesterday to see that she chose me as one of 5 recipients of the Liebster Blog Award! Liebster in German (oh look it's almost like i'm studying! ;) means dearest, beloved, or favourite. Essentially this award is targeted toward blogs with under 200 followers, in order to bring attention to new & growing blogs.

New In // Stella & Dot

If you're an avid blog follower like me, I'm sure you find yourself entering giveaway upon giveaway, with little to show for it. Well, about 2 weeks ago I was pleasantly surprised to find an email from Veronika of Girl & Closet saying I had won her Stella & Dot giveaway - score! I've been an admirer of Stella & Dot jewellery for some time, but until now didn't own a piece myself (problem solved :)


After some correspondence with Shannon of Stella & Dot my delightful little package was on its way & just happened to arrive the other day! So what did I choose?

There were so many pieces I would have loved to own, but I finally decided on the ''Chantilly Lace Chandelier Earrings'', which can be found here. These are a far cry from my usual earrings of choice (simple studs with a bit of sparkle), but I decided it was time for something new - not to mention, how gorgeous are these?! I'm really looking forward to fancying up my work look with these beauties, as well as using them for a special occasion.

LOOKBOOK: Strangeness & Charm

Hello dears! 

My apologies for not getting my posts up yesterday as promised - I had completely forgotten it was Remembrance Day the night before. The minute I woke up I jumped out of bed, got ready rather too quickly & headed to the city centre to meet a friend for the Vancouver RD ceremony. From there I had a rather productive morning (errands) & an equally unproductive evening (christmas movies, catching up on blogs, & eating a delicious feast of which I cooked not a morsel).

Hoping to get in another photoshoot today, as well as the afore-promised purchase post! Hope everyone out there is having a fantastic weekend :)
