Better late than never?

The title of this post seems to be the tag line of my life. So many things have happened since my last post nearly four months ago; and although I feel a tad guilty about letting my blog fall by the wayside, I know putting all my energy into my travels & building my life here in London was worth every moment.

That being said, now seems like the perfect time to jump back into things; to attempt to unload the virtual mountain of photos & posts I've accumulated over the past few months. I'll start out with a short one - my look for Vogue's Fashion's Night Out in Vancouver in September. Definitely seems out of season as I write this on a snowy January evening on a completely different continent, but I still adore this look. I AM DOWNTOWN

Tonight we braved the rain to attend the 'I Am Downtown' shopping + fashion event at the Pacific Centre, here in downtown Vancouver. 


As you can see from the advertisement below, the event included a fashion show within the shopping centre. I absolutely loved all the pieces shown - so much glitter, sequin, & velvet! The outfits were basically comprised of designers & labels housed at the Pacific Centre, including: Michael Kors, Max Mara, Aritzia, Browns, Hugo Boss, Stuart Weitzman, Club Monaco, Judith & Charles, Mexx, Harry Rosen, Nine West, Sears, & Ann Louise Jewellers. The only negative aspect was not being able to easily identify the designers of each & every piece (unfortunate if you've got precise shopping on the mind).
