Shine Like A New Pin

I know, I know - finally a new post! My apologies for the absence; not only have I been working every day, but also had a touch of sore throat. Thankfully after a few mediocre days, the sun came out today & my positivity along with it. I headed out early for a morning of shopping & was delighted over the light & leaves. There is something I love so much about the quietness of even large cities in the morning. Suffice it to say, it was a great start to a pretty lovely day.


My main mission was to rummage through the American Apparel Warehouse Sale at Convention Centre. If any of you are in Vancouver, I definitely suggest checking it out! I was a little disappointed not to find any maxi skirts or bodysuits I had been coveting, but there were a lot of great deals on the basic items that AA is famous for.  I guess attending the sale this morning put me in the mood because my 'Look of the Day' skirt, bodysuit, & shirt are all AA pieces (the navy micromesh shirt being one of my warehouse sale purchases):
